How it works
Four steps from camera roll to bank account. You handle the shooting; the platform handles the rest.
Create a photographer account for free. Add your payout details and you're good to go. Round out your profile with a short bio, location, and socials so athletes can find you.
Use the Create Album flow to drop in your photos and videos. Fill in the basics — sport, spot, location, date, and time — so the athletes you shot can find your work.
You decide what every album is worth. Per-photo and per-video prices, item overrides, volume discounts — full agency.
Choose the currency you charge in. Get paid in the same currency — bank, mobile wallet, or whatever option is available for your country.
Creating albums
Three sub-steps inside the upload wizard. The details auto-fill from EXIF — you mostly just confirm and price.
Drop files
Drag photos and videos into the upload zone. Multipart uploads handle multi-GB videos. Photos min 12 MP, videos min 1280×720.
Confirm details
Sport, location, date, start and end time. EXIF prefills the date and time range — you set the rest.
Review & publish
Per-item price overrides, pick a cover photo, hit publish — the album is live on /browse and your profile within seconds.
Your work is protected by default
Watermarked previews
Your @handle tiled diagonally across every preview, removed only after purchase.
Originals never public
High-res files served via signed URLs that expire after the buyer's download.
Burst grouping
Sequences shot within 2 seconds group as one, so a 15-frame burst stays in context.
Full agency on every album
You set the prices. The platform never overrides them, never bundles them into a subscription, never tells you what your work is worth.
Default prices
Set a default per-photo and per-video price in your profile. Every new album pre-fills with those defaults — you only tweak what's different for that shoot.
Volume discounts
Optional per-album tiers — reward buyers who pick up 3, 5, 10 or more shots with a percentage off. Configure separately for photos and videos, or skip entirely.
Transparency
The price you set is the price that drives your balance. Open the dashboard any time to see what lands in your account for a sale.
Build your audience
Every album you publish lives on your public profile at whoshotyou.com/photographer/your-handle. Athletes find you, follow your work, reach out for their own shoots.
Found in the directory
Registered users can search photographers by sport, location, and hourly rate. The more albums you publish in a region, the higher you climb in the local results.
Build a five-star reputation
Every athlete who buys your work can leave a 1–5 star review. Pile up the five-stars and other athletes see it when they search.
Private session bookings
Set an hourly rate for private sessions. When an athlete reaches out you get an email with their message and contact details — reply however suits.
One URL, full catalogue
Every published album, one scroll. Share the profile URL anywhere — Instagram bio, contest entry forms, sponsor decks.
Promote your work
The athlete you just shot won't always remember a URL. Three tools so they find you when they're back home.
Business cards
Print-ready PDF on Profile → Media. A4, 10 cards per page, two-sided (front: name + handle; back: a QR to your portfolio). Light or dark theme, crop marks included.
Promotional posters
Full A4 posters from the same Media tab. Pin them up at the lineup, the parking lot, the contest tent — the QR on each lands them on your profile.
On-the-spot QR
Open the user dropdown and tap Show My QR. A full-screen scannable code pops up — the athlete grabs it from your phone in two seconds.
Stay on top of the numbers
One screen for the whole business. Always know where you stand, what's working, and when to cash out.
Live earnings
Pending balance, total earnings, and recent payouts across every currency you've sold in — updated the moment a sale clears.
Cash out when you want
Hit Request payout whenever you're ready. See the full breakdown before confirming, then the money is on its way.
Analytics built in
Top locations, top hours, top buyers, top albums — see which shoots actually drive your revenue so you can shoot more of them.
